Eveline Tavares

Chief People and Diversity Officer

A seasoned and dedicated human resources executive with extensive international experience and a passion for humanitarian work, Eveline Tavares has been responsible for all HR policies, programs, and services in several organizations. Her areas of responsibility have included the leadership of HR teams and the development of HR strategies and their implementation. She has served as strategic advisor as well as manager of functional areas of HR such as talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, employee relations, health and wellbeing, learning and development, DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion), and compliance.

Eveline has recently joined Corus International as the Chief People and Diversity Officer. Previously, she worked at Action Against Hunger-USA for almost a decade, where she held several positions including HR Coordinator in Islamabad, Pakistan, and Global Director of Human Resources. The first half of her career was spent in her native Brazil working as a Director of HR at Camargo Correa S.A., a São Paulo-based conglomerate with diversified international operations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pontifical Catholic University in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rio Grande do Sul, also in Porto Alegre.
