Suzanne Lawrence leads global health philanthropy at Corus World Health. She joined the Corus family in the spring of 2020 with over 25 years of experience in the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Prior to joining the Corus family, Suzanne served as Senior Director of Foundation Relations and Philanthropy for City of Hope, where she worked with world-renowned faculty and researchers to attain private funding to propel scientific exploration and promote health equity in partnership with Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation as well as others. She also served St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its international outreach program in Lebanon, Morocco and other MENA and LAC countries. Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, Suzanne led enterprise software sales and business development efforts at start-up and established tech firms, working directly with C-level executives at multinational corporations including Adidas, Porsche, Shimano and others.
Born in Damascus, Suzanne joined Corus with strong passion for our work in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, the Middle East and the Muslim world at large. Suzanne holds an MBA with an emphasis in advertising and lives in Southern California. She is a mother of two college age children and an advocate for women's rights.
