Marcelino Ford-Livene
Board Director
Marcelino Ford-Livene is Managing Director at the Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets. His portfolio includes the firm’s global internal and client–facing diversity and inclusion strategy and execution. He is also a senior member of RBC’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) and corporate citizenship team, where he helps to lead the firm’s investments in ESG venture funds and network of diverse broker dealers.
Prior to RBC Capital Markets, Mr. Ford-Livene spent over 15 years as a senior executive at Intel Corporation in several roles with increasing global responsibility. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Head of the Executive-in-Residence Program at Intel Capital, the corporate venture capital arm of Intel.
Mr. Ford-Livene also serves on the board of Climate Central and is a board observer of Iris.tv, a later stage, venture-backed company in the advertising technology space. Prior board affiliations include VenueNext (acquired by Shift4 Payments), TRA Global (now NYSE: XPER), Delivery Agent, YuMe, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Digital Diversity Network which awarded him their Innovation and Inclusion Award for Impact in 2019. He is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and currently sits on the Diversity and Inclusion Council of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA).
Mr. Ford-Livene holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California at San Diego. He also holds a JD/MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in addition to a certificate from Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program. A native of Los Angeles, he is an avid golfer, supporter of competitive youth golf and junior Olympic gymnastics and an aspiring BBQ pit master. He is married with teenage fraternal twins and resides in the Los Angeles area.
